Wire rope drum is fixed in a welded one piece drum housing which is machined in one setting to ensure smooth running of rope drum. Welded drum housing also nullifies skewing effect drum housing plates are not aligned with each other. As both the plates are fixed with long distance bolts in other types of hoist, drum housing plates as fixed with long distance bolts are not eligned with each other perfectly. This is not the case with our wire rope hoists. Hoists are designed in accordance with is 3938-1983 modular construction for ease of maintenance as brake motor gear box control panel are easily accessible reducing down time for maintenance.
Alloy steel spur & helical gears running on antifriction ball bearings reduces noise & increase life of gear box. Motor as per is 325 with fail safe brake is used to ensure full safety at any load position even in power failure. Wire rope confirming to is 2266, forged hooks as per is: 8610 & push button stations operates at 24 volts only. Hoist can also be built with micro speed arrangement (10% of normal hoisting speed) higher speeds, & life at an extra cost.
